What Our Nigerian Passport Renewal Service Includes

Everything between “my passport expired” and “my file was accepted at the counter”.

Crucial fact: biometric capture cannot be done remotely. You attend in person at the official centre shown on your appointment confirmation — currently the Nigeria High Commission in London for UK applicants. There are no remote biometric options, and no private service can speed up government processing. Our job is to make certain your file is accepted on the spot.

NIS online form, completed and submitted

We complete and submit your NIS application for you, based on your documents — supporting Nigerian passport renewal online from first entry to submission — to avoid spelling errors and wrong booklet selections.

NIN name and date-of-birth check

We compare your NIN name order, middle names and date of birth against your passport record character-by-character, before any official fee is paid.

Payment guidance — receipts in your name

You pay the official NIS fee directly on the portal. We help you through each step via chat and email and check that your Payment and Acknowledgment Slips generate correctly in your name.

Appointment-day briefing pack

Arrival time, document order, dress code, photo rules and return-envelope specifications for your biometrics appointment.

Biometric Appointment London & Processing Time UK

What attending your Nigeria High Commission appointment in London involves, expected processing time in the UK, and exactly how to arrive prepared.

Where biometrics happen

For UK applicants, photograph and fingerprint capture are currently conducted at the Nigeria High Commission, 9 Northumberland Avenue, London WC2N 5BX. The centre shown on your appointment confirmation is the one you attend — we check current centre availability with you before any payment.

What to bring

Originals plus one complete copy set in official order: expired passport, colour data-page photocopy, signed NIS form, payment and acknowledgment slips, appointment slip, NIN slip, compliant photographs and your pre-paid return envelope.

What happens at the desk

Document verification at reception, then ten digital fingerprints and a high-resolution facial photograph. You leave with a validated biometric enrolment slip — the government processing clock starts from that point.

Getting your passport back

Either collection as advised by the High Commission, or the pre-paid Royal Mail Special Delivery 500g envelope you hand over on the day — tracked door-to-door, no second trip to London.

Fees: Two Clearly Owned Payments

1. Official NIS Government Fee

Paid by you, directly on the official NIS payment portal — never through us. We help you through each payment and keep copies of the official receipts in your case folder. Non-refundable once paid.

  • 32 Pages · 5 Years$162 (incl. $12 gateway)
  • 64 Pages · 10 Years$242 (incl. $12 gateway)
  • High Commission admin charge · Per Sept 2026 notice£20

2. Our Application-Support Fee

Paid to us only after you approve the written quote. Covers your checklist, NIN comparison, form completion and submission, one full review, one correction round, payment and appointment guidance, and a biometrics-day checklist.

  • Flat support fee (per case)£50
  • NIN name checkIncluded

Separate clocks, never added together: our review (2 working days after a complete upload) · appointment wait (variable, official centre) · NIS 2026 standard of 21 days after successful enrolment for a reissue · dispatch or collection. The £20 High Commission administrative charge follows the September 2026 notice and is reconfirmed per case. No legitimate “express government processing” fee exists. Why Applications Actually Get Rejected

The six failure modes we see most at the High Commission — and exactly how each one is prevented.

NIN-to-passport name mismatch

A reversed first/middle name, a missing middle name, or a single misspelt character between your NIN and passport fails biometric verification instantly.

How we prevent it: We compare both records character-by-character and route any NIMC correction before any official fee is paid.

Date or place of birth conflicts

A date of birth recorded differently across NIN, passport, and certificates triggers an irreconcilable portal error.

How we prevent it: We reconcile every date against your statutory documents before portal submission.

Wrong booklet or validity selection

Selecting a booklet type your category isn't eligible for voids the application — and the fee paid with it.

How we prevent it: We confirm eligibility and select the correct booklet during portal filing.

Unsettled or unverified payment

A payment that never flips to 'Paid' on the NIS portal means no acknowledgment slip — and no appointment.

How we prevent it: We check the portal status and payment reference with you, and regenerate slips before booking.

Non-compliant photographs

White clothing against a light backdrop, glasses, headwear, or photos older than 6 months cause refusal at the capture desk.

How we prevent it: Our briefing pack specifies exact photo standards and what to wear on the day.

Incomplete or out-of-order document pack

Missing photocopies, unstamped forms, or documents presented out of sequence slow or stop reception processing.

How we prevent it: You arrive with a pre-sorted, labelled pack in the exact order the desk expects.

Adult Renewal FAQs

Real searches, answered plainly — timings, payments, appointments and mismatches.

Partly. The application form, document upload, payment and appointment booking all start online on the official NIS portal — we complete and submit each step on your behalf. But biometric capture (fingerprints and facial photograph) must be done in person at the official centre shown on your appointment confirmation, currently the Nigeria High Commission in London for UK applicants.

The NIS 2026 service standard states 21 days after successful biometric enrolment for a standard reissue. Your appointment wait, incomplete documents, NIN mismatch, extra checks and dispatch can make the end-to-end journey longer. We quote each clock separately and never add them into one promised date.

Only through the official booking system, in your name. We help you monitor release cycles, prepare the documents the appointment requires, and send a one-page checklist 48 hours before attendance. We never sell, reserve or guarantee slots — nobody legitimately can.

Pause the passport application and correct the authoritative NIN record through an authorised NIMC channel first. Our pre-check identifies mismatches early and coordinates the correction before any official fee is paid — submitting with a mismatch risks refusal at biometrics.

Yes — booklet type is selected during the NIS portal application, so renewal is the natural time to change. The 5-year 32-page booklet costs $162 and the 10-year 64-page booklet costs $242 (each including the $12 gateway charge), plus the £20 High Commission administrative charge. You pay the official portal directly; we help you choose based on your travel pattern.

Not quite — the route changes. Loss cases need a UK police report, sworn declarations and extra security checks, and standard timings do not apply. See our dedicated lost or damaged passport guidance for the correct category and evidence list.

Your pre-sorted document pack: original passport, colour data-page photocopy, signed application form, payment and acknowledgment slips, appointment slip, NIN slip, compliant photographs and the pre-paid Royal Mail 500g envelope. The briefing pack lists everything in desk order.

Never upfront. You approve one written cost summary: our flat £50 application-support fee (invoiced to us) plus the official charges, which you pay directly on the official NIS and High Commission portals — receipts in your name. Variable costs such as courier, affidavit or bank charges are quoted first and labelled as variable.
